Dr. Matthew Marino has a successful track record conducting and disseminating mixed method efficacy studies as well as research and development projects related to improving the accessibility of technology-enhanced STEM curricular materials. Dr. Marino collaborated with Filament Games to develop an award-winning suite of middle school science video games that were evaluated by more than 2000 students across 14 states.
Dr. Marino has more than 60 publications and presentations related to this work. His experience as PI or Co-PI on more than 4.5 million dollars in Federal and State grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Institute of Education Sciences (IES), and Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). These experiences add a unique perspective to the project team.
