Hollywood Meets Learning:
A Story-based Model for Behavioral Cybersecurity Training
David Hull earned a Ph.D. in information systems at City University of Hong Kong; MBA and JD degrees from The University of Kansas; and a BBS degree from Washburn University. Since 1995, when he left a thriving corporate finance career to co-found and co-manage Learning Insights, a Chicago-based e-learning company, David has pursued the vision of democratizing learning. Learning Insights partnered with the Institute for the Learning Sciences at Northwestern University to pioneer the commercial use of multimedia-enabled blended learning for Wall Street (Goldman Sachs; Merrill Lynch; JP Morgan, et al.) and graduate management education (e.g., The Kellogg School of Management, The Olin School of Business, et al.). Later, David drew upon his experience at Learning Insights to design, develop and deploy multimedia-enabled blended learning for the courses he taught in MBA programs in Beijing (at The University of International Business and Economics) and Madrid (at Instituto de Empresa).
