Mr. Lozano is an executive advisor and programmatic analyst and consultant in training and education with emphasis on e-learning technology implementations. The aggregation of his work to improve human performance effectiveness and efficiencies addresses an array of adult/post- secondary educational challenges such as resistance to learning. In order to improve the system(s) engineering approach to program management and process design and development, his ascribed mission to solve for risk, obstacles and hardship in challenging career environments has added to broad improvements in various systems and organizations whose missions include advancing the knowledge, understanding, skills and professionalism of their warfighters, students and/or workforce.
A retired, 24-yr. Marine officer and combat veteran, Mr. Lozano began his technical career in industrial electronics in 1980. He has been a radio technician, discrete-component assembler, small-business owner, artilleryman, military pilot (CH53E), computer scientist, and project/program manager. Mr. Lozano’s overall management focus remains, leadership communication improvements toward industry advancement as a whole. Having always been in leadership roles, his focus has been directed at process alignment, personnel management and motivational techniques to engender the learner and the skilled professional alike. His rich experience as a classroom instructor, flight instructor, simulation instructor, and teaching ad-hoc subjects to classes of all sizes throughout his career are exemplary of an undying focus on the student experience.
Mr. Lozano considers himself a perennial student, last attending the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California (Master of computer science curricula). He is currently pursuing a PhD of Education. Actively involved in the industry of training, education and simulation, he can be found at dozens of workshops, symposiums and conferences annually promoting industry collaboration and partnerships. Mr. Lozano speaks in public and private venue regularly to share the excitement of distance-learning, simulation, serious games and eLearning trends within the DOD and related industries. Mr. Lozano is founder, silent-partner and consultant of multiple small business ventures and projects. He also holds patents (pending) in robotic technology from prior collaborative efforts. With over 30 years of experience in applying technological solutions to improve human and organizational performance, Mr. Lozano is a highly-sought expert for involvement in leading edge solutions for today’s training, education and leadership challenges.
