End 2009, Bernard decided to combine his passion for game design and game programming by starting up the first company dedicated to the development of prototypes for games: PreviewLabs.
PreviewLabs turns game concepts in playable prototypes, allowing its clients to evaluate a concept early on. This service enables them to explore more different ideas and ultimately helps them to be more successful developing new products.
An important part of the work PreviewLabs does is for serious games, including for learning, scientific research, and simulation.
In the first seven years of PreviewLabs, Bernard oversaw the development of prototypes for over 100 different concepts, for customers including Walt Disney Imagineering and Yale University.
