Biography

Dr. Christopher Hazard is the founder and CEO of Hazardous Software, whose AI, simulation, and serious game products help analyze strategy-level problems for large organizations. He holds a PhD in computer science from NC State on artificial intelligence for trust and reputation. His career and publication record span a variety of fields including network infrastructure, cyber security, hypnosis, robotics, psychology, privacy, economics, and logistics. Dr. Hazard is also known for his 2011 game Achron, which won GameSpot’s Best Original Game Mechanic award, and for his research on game and incentive design, for which he has given keynote speeches at major conferences.
